Vehicle Donation Camp David of the Ozarks is looking for trucks, cars, mini vans, and full size vans with less than 100,000 miles to meet our programming needs. Vehicles should be in good working order. Donating a vehicle is simple and all donations are tax deductible. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Memorial Rocking Chairs Our guests love the rocking chairs around our facilities that enhance relaxing and reflection. What makes them even more special is the little plaque on each one that says, “In Memory (or Honor) of __________, Given By: ___________” You can honor your loved one by a memorial chair or bench for a gift of $150. We purchase the quality made rocking chairs from Cracker Barrel, and sturdy benches from our local home improvement store. A local jeweler engraves the plaques with your message on it.
Wish List Throughout the year we have specific needs that can often be met through items being donated, which is a tremendous help to our yearly budget. You can request a tax-deductable receipt for these non-cash items where you would fill out the value amount for your records.
Camp David’s Current Wish List:
- Horses- trail horses that are good with kids
- Keyboard for worship
- ATV or golf cart
- Princess dresses, jewelry, tiaras, feather boas, shoes
- Bookcases and Christian books & biographies
- Vacuum cleaner
- Ping-pong table
- Large saddles, halters, and other horse tack
- Vans & Pick-up truck

While we sincerely appreciate all generous donations, we do ask that all donations be in good working condition. Our storage space and time is limited, and we are unable to fix up old equipment. Other than princess dress donations, our extra clothing bins are also full for campers, so please donate your extra clothing to Salvation Army.

Local volunteers Our team of local volunteers help with quarterly bulk mailings, plant flowers in the spring, sew aprons & curtains for cabins, bake cookies for fundraisers, and help with transportation occasionally during summer camp. Please contact us if you would like to be considered part of the local team and alerted when there is an opportunity to help.
Mentors If God has given you a heart for mentoring at-risk kids, please contact us and apply to become part of this ministry. We plan to launch a new mentoring program “Right Foundations” shortly, which will need local senior citizens, art teachers, computer lab teachers, and other professionals who can help for two hours either periodically or weekly.
Princess Dinner The “Princess Dinner” is a girl’s dream- having her nails painted, hair styled, and being able to pick out a sparkly dress. Once the girls are ready they have a glamour photo taken for their photo albums. This is followed by horse drawn carriage ride to the front door of our dining hall where they enjoy a lovely banquet complete with elegant drinking glasses and waiters in bow ties. Upon completion of the meal the music changes and everyone moves out to the dance floor where the girls and their counselors dance and laugh together!
You can help by coming out and styling the girl’s hair, painting nails, and helping them choose jewelry to match their dresses. The girls get ready on Wednesday afternoons, every girl’s week- just contact us for specific dates and to let us know you can come!
