What is it?
NOS! It was the racing secret in the movie The Fast and the Furious. When you found yourself on the home stretch and keeping neck-n-neck with your opponent, you reached for the NOS. At the exact, opportune moment, you struck the button and the resulting reaction turbo-charged your speeding machine past the finish line in a blur. This is the vision of the CDO Intern Program! At the end of this year, these disciples will have learned how to run retreats, run a camp, and run the race with endurance for the prize!
What do you do?
During this one year program interns live at camp, and participate in various aspects of the camp program, including recruiting staff, hosting retreats, and mentoring campers. In addition to this they participate in weekly personal growth classes taught by staff, read three qualified books per month, write reflections on each book, meet with a mentor once a week, and memorize portions of scripture.

What is the cost?
Before they start the program, each intern is expected to raise a minimal of $600 for personal living expenses, plus whatever is needed for car, cell phone, and other like payments. CDO provides interns with housing and a monthly grocery allowance.
When does it start and end?
The 2012-2013 Internship will start September 3, 2012 and will go through August 3, 2013. If you are interested in the 2012-2013 internship you will want to send your application no later than June 30th.
