We are very excited to invite you to our 7th annual Banquet for Hope! If you want to be part of impacting the lives of at-risk children, you won't want to miss this complimentary banquet, and the Big Announcement! The banquet will be hosted in the beautiful St. Pat's Ballroom at the Havener Center. Special features of the evening include stories and testimonies from camp, and a Silent Auction. We believe you will be blessed and inspired by our Keynote Speaker- Shay Robbins, who is the K2 Men's Director at Kanakuk Kamps. This is a complementary banquet with an opportunity to give to raise funds for Camp David of the Ozarks. All donations are tax-deductable. We hope to see you at our Banquet for Hope on February 23rd!

Register for the Family Mission Camp today!!

Did you ever wish you could take your family on a mission trip so you could serve God and have some great times together? Join our Family Mission Camp, in the wild Ozarks, and be part of giving hope to at-risk kids. There are a lot of spring projects that need to be completed before camp - things a family could work on together. We will also do some fun evening activities like a Talent Show! Familes can also enjoy a campfire & smores, and evening worship. Camp begins Monday at 2 pm, and ends Friday at 3pm. Cost is $200 per family, inculding meals and lodging. Families will be expected to work from 9 am to 4:30 pm each day, (with breaks). Service projects include building benches and rustic furniture, painting, spreading mulch, clearing out brush, sewing, and more.

Camp David is hosting our 6th annual Outreach Event that is fondly titled: "The Weekend." For the past five years Camp David has been blessed with the help of Homeschool Graduates through this outreach! Participants enjoy serving together on different projects from hanging siding to planting flowers, and fellowshipping with other young adults with similar life experiences. If you are a homeschool graduate we would like to invite you to The Weekend from May 18-20, 2012. Not only will participants work together on service projects, but Camp David will be intentional in planning activities and games for The Weekend that promote relationship building and long term friendships. The Weekend is one of Camp David's largest outreach events with participants coming from FL to OR to be here. We are excited about all that will be accomplished and looking forward to seeing all our friends again! The cost is $45 per person.

Introducing Camp David's Leadership Training Camp! For the past eight years CDO has been growing young leaders through the many volunteer opportunities at camp. We are now offering a Leadership Training Camp in a unique training format for any young adult (age 16 to 22) who wants to develop their leadership skills and learn how to turn problems into opportunities. During this exciting training you will grow through group initiatives, problem-solving games, personal growth tracks, and teachings from world class leaders. You will also enjoy making friends and learning together with other young adults. If you want to grow as a leader right where you are you won't want to miss CDO's leadership training camp. Camp starts Wednesday at 8 am, and ends Friday at 4 pm. Cost is $150, including food, lodging, and training.

Staff Training begins Monday - June 4, 2012 at 7:00 pm and will end Friday - June 8th, at 4:00 pm. There is an alternative weekend Counselor Training for those 18 yrs and older, April 13-15, 2012 if they cannot attend the week long training.

All summer staff are invited to join us Friday, August 3rd for a canoe trip down the Current River! We will have a picnic lunch on the river and a bonfire when we get back to camp. Everyone is invited to stay over at camp Friday night for a sharing time of our favorite camp memories and what God has done in our lives this summer. Saturday morning we will do a "Monday morning clean" and then practice our skits for the Appreciation Dinner. Some staff may even jump in (be tossed in) the pool! Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can order the correct number of canoes. We also need to know if you are going to spend Thursday night and /or Friday night at camp. Be sure to wear water shoes and clothes that could get wet on the canoe trip! Meet at camp at 8AM Friday morning!

All summer staff and their families are invited to our 2012 Staff Appreciation Celebration to celebrate all that God did at Camp David during the summer. The party will be on Saturday, August 4th, from 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm, at Camp David of the Ozarks.Cake and punch will be served, and you will be entertained with skits, a movie with the summer's hightlights, testimonies from camp, and fun awards.
