New Construction at Camp David
posted in Building Project, Camp Updates ||
It has been a very busy three weeks with work teams!
March 28- April 1st we had about 32 students and leaders here from the Newman Center, plus about 10 people with the Baptist Student Union. They were all such hard, willing workers, and together they accomplished more in their one week of service than any work week since 2006.
April 4-9th Grandpa Tom brought a team of 17 high school students and leaders. They burned a lot of brush, re-painted the stage for
our African theme this year, prepared the pad for the next cabin, and poured the basketball court (and more!)
April 11th a construction foreman from MI arrived with part of a crew to begin framing Grandpa Tom's cabin. On Tuesday two more arrived, and we are still praying for more hands to help with this framing. See pictures below of the new basement!
We have seen God's hand of blessing in everything from beautiful weather, safety on the construction projects, and amazing people with big hearts to work with.
Thank you for your prayers and support for the Camp David Ministry.
Sincerely,
Ben & Grace Smith

Grandpa Tom's Cabin
The basement of Grandpa Tom's Cabin is finished now, and a small construction team from MI is here trying to frame up the cabin.
If you have time over the next few days to come out and help, please do! ![]()
